For some of my friends' weddings, they wanted the groom and the groomsmen to match the bridesmaids and wedding colors but not be the boring same old perfect tuxedo-rental-color-tie-vest-or-bow tie-match. That prom-esque look of the solid colored ties, vests or bow tie can be so boring. Add a tie with a pattern for some oomph! The exception? Black. Black is priceless, ageless and classy no matter whether a solid or a pattern.
